Task 3: Stage Design (25%)

Your task: You are required to design a stage with following theme: (approximately – no bigger than 50 ft x 35 ft height 34 ft). Please ensure your chosen dimension of the stage design to fit your stage site.
Theme/idea- based: (pick one from these) - [theme here may give the same meaning-get your own theme]
1. musical (local: PGL, P. Ramlee…)
2. play (comedy, Shakespeare etc)
3. opera
4. dance
5. scenery
6. ballet
7. Broadway (mamma mia.,.)
8. environmental (theatre as whole)
9. resident theatre
10. one man show/one night stand
11. shopping mall –seasonal stage
Submission:
Model : Scale - to be decided later- either 1:20/ 1:15 of 1:10. Material: any.
Hard copy : Drawings – 1 no of A1 size. Color print.
Soft copy: model photos (min 5/max 10 nos), digitize version of drawing + write-up on yr stage design –concept, ideas, purpose, material, conclusion etc…- min 3 pages/max. 5 – pls include min 3/max 6 photos (appropriate size) to support report – arial, font 12, space:normal.
